How we work

Unitarians value the contribution of every individual to the life of the community and democratic principles underpin how we operate at national and local level. The General Assembly is a registered charity (no. 250788) and is subject to the regulation of the Charity Commission. It is a membership body with congregations, district associations, affiliated bodies, Ministers on the Roll and a few honoured individuals as voting members.

Authority within the Unitarian movement rests at the local level and the Annual Unitarian Meetings bring the whole Movement together to discuss and consider issues of importance.
