Resolutions

The General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches was established in 1928. Ever since then – or rather since the new arrangements bedded down with the completion of a full year in 1930 – its Annual Meetings, held in different locations up and down the country, have passed resolutions.

Over the years, resolutions have covered topics including:

  • Animal Welfare
  • Civil and Religious Liberty
  • Criminal Justice and Penal Policy
  • Denominational Issues
  • Drink and Drugs
  • Ecumenism and Interfaith
  • Education
  • Environment
  • Gambling
  • Health
  • Minority Rights & Racial Justice
  • Peace and Disarmament
  • Religious Freedom
  • Sexuality
  • Social Policy
  • International and World Development
  • Unemployment
  • Women’s Rights
